Ashleigh is a passionate and positive Dietitian as well as a qualified Exercise Professional. She is the proud owner of her own Dietetic business called Body Fusion in Sydney, Australia and still practices as a Personal Trainer.
In her clinic Ashleigh helps a wide variety of clients manage conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, IBS, food sensitivities and eating disorders. She also sees a large proportion of weight loss clients.
Growing up an elite swimmer, Ashleigh had also always has a keen interest in Exercise and Sport’s Nutrition. She has had the opportunity to work with the Brisbane Roar & Gold Coast United A League Football, the Australian Squash Team, Bulls Cricket and Junior Australian Golfers. Many clients also come to seek her help in order to achieve the results they desire in the gym. She also assists professional athletes (which range from everything from ballerinas through to even triathletes!) with training and performance nutrition.
Ashleigh also frequently consults to the media and advocates for nutrition. She has now had published contributed to media articles on topics such as weight loss, healthy snacking, IBS, gluten intolerance, binge drinking and Sports Nutrition in local newspapers, magazines and online.
Ashleigh also enjoys running nutrition and exercise workshops for a wide range of groups including corporates, actors, university students and sports teams.
Ashleigh’s inspiration to be a Dietitian stems from her desire to help clients discover how a balanced diet can prevent/treat chronic disease, promote longevity and positively influence energy and concentration levels. Being both an ardent cook, and knowledgeable in food products, she loves to happily share how to make healthy foods taste amazing!
