What is a Golden Ticket?
We get it. Sometimes there’s a special occasion in October where you’d like to have a drink, but we don’t want this to stop you from taking part in Sober October and raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support! So that’s where a Golden Ticket comes in.
The Golden Ticket entitles you to a night off from your Sober October challenge. You can buy one for yourself or sweet talk a mate into getting you one for a minimum £15 donation. Sorted!
How to donate a Golden Ticket?

Click the Donate button
STEP 3
Click on the Golden Ticket tab and select a date
Important Note
Sober October is an 18+ fundraising campaign aimed at challenging social drinkers to change their habits for a month and make some healthy lifestyle changes. We would encourage people to drink responsibly and stick to the recommended daily guidelines for the rest of the year. We advise heavy drinkers or people dependent on alcohol to speak with their GP before signing up to Sober October.
